About The Role




Outpatient Co-Ordinator



6 Month FTC



Practice Plus Group, Plymouth



As part of the Administration team at Practice Plus Group Hospital, Plymouth you will work proactively to coordinate and ensure that the outpatient clinics run smoothly and report any issues to the Outpatient Manager Nicola Law. You will coordinate the patient's pathway in the department, liaising with nursing staff, updating patient details, requesting patient transport and recording the outcome of all outpatient appointments.

What you'll be doing




You will have experience of dealing with customers face to face and over the phone in healthcare or another service sector, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Your ability to deal with difficult situations calmly is also important in this role. Your customer focused approach, willingness to learn new skills and motivation to provide a high quality service are just as important however.

What we'll look for in you




Qualifications:
Good standard of education NVQ in Business Administration -desirable. Customer Care/Service -desirable.
Experience
Proven relevant experience in dealing with the general public Good computer skills including experience in using Word and Excel General office systems and routines Knowledge of health and safety -desirable Experience of working in a similar setting -desirable Ability to problem solve effectively Sensitivity and empathy with people Excellent communication skills Excellent organisational skills. Ability to work without close supervision Proven relevant experience in dealing with the general public Good computer skills including experience in using Word and Excel Ability to problem solve effectively Excellent interpersonal skills
