Job Description

Throughout the day to safely transport patients between the wards and the Operating Department, assist in moving medical and surgical equipment to wards and departments. to move dirty and clean instrument trolleys within the theatre and S.S.D complex. to maintain equipment and report faults to senior staff. To collect blood and associated products and specimens to correct places.

Cleaning equipment, putting away all stores and SSD supplies. Order and maintain stock including sunlight drapes. To ensure the safe and correct disposal of all rubbish and fluid bags/boxes. To assist in the ordering storing and distribution of IV fluids for Pharmacy.
