We\'re seeking an Operations & Release Manager who is passionate about driving efficiency, ensuring impeccable service delivery, and optimizing processes within our cutting-edge telecommunications environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership

  • Ensure that all contractual services exceed expectations, continuously reviewing vendor performance while maintaining cost control.
  • Cultivate a high-engagement atmosphere for reporting operations engineers and lead the Service Management Team.
  • Accept, manage, and resolve Operations Service Management issues raised by key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and remediate service issues, driving ongoing service improvements.
  • Keep stakeholders informed with updates, alerts, and planned service changes.
Systems Operations Process Optimization
  • Streamline internal operational processes to enhance efficiency and implement performance metrics and KPIs.
  • Establish reporting and improvement targets for all vendors.
  • Drive teams to manage system performance, availability, and scalability.
  • Produce Service Management Dashboards and reports.
  • Foster regular meetings with key stakeholders to discuss SLAs/KPIs and address inquiries.
Continuous Improvements and Release Management
  • Spearhead operational improvement initiatives in partnership with vendors and managed service partners.
  • Apply quality improvement methodologies to enhance organizational processes across all operational functions.
  • Plan and execute system improvement strategies aligned with regular sprints, budget cycles, and BAU activities.
Governance
  • Oversee organizational operational design and management, including contract execution, maintenance of service levels, and process optimization.
  • Establish internal governance frameworks, including reporting, escalation measures, and approval matrixes.
  • Manage SLA/OLA across the landscape and promote Service Management standards within Operations.
  • Maintain the Calendar of Events and provide timely reminders to stakeholders.
  • Ensure thorough documentation, consistent auditing, and continuous improvement of Service Management Team processes.
  • Support the definition and delivery of projects aimed at improving service management outcomes.
Operational Experience Required:
  • 3-5 years of hands-on Operations management experience in Enterprise IT systems (e.g., HR, Finance, ERP, Integrations).
  • Proficiency in managing multiple environments and release cycles across various business functions/domains.
  • Expertise in managing user expectations and communication regarding application upgrades and service availability.
  • Proven experience in leading more than 3 vendors.
  • Strong commercial acumen and contract understanding.
  • Exceptional analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
  • Effective stakeholder management skills.
  • Track record of leading teams and supporting a global user base.
