Operational and Compliance Manager

to help us maintain excellence across all areas of the service.

The Role:

This is a key leadership position within the home. You will be responsible for ensuring that daily operations run smoothly, regulatory standards are consistently met, and care delivery remains safe, responsive, and well-led. From supporting staff and managing audits to handling compliance documentation and liaising with external professionals, your focus will be on maintaining and raising standards across the board.You will work closely with senior management to drive continuous improvement and provide effective leadership to the team. Your ability to interpret CQC regulations and embed best practice in the day-to-day running of the home will be crucial to success in this role.

Responsibilities include:

Overseeing the daily operational management of the care home Leading on compliance, audits, and internal quality assurance Ensuring ongoing readiness for CQC inspections and maintaining excellent regulatory standing Supporting staff with supervision, training, and performance management Liaising with families, professionals, and external agencies to ensure holistic, transparent care Reviewing and updating policies, procedures, and care plans in line with legislation and best practice

About You:

We are looking for someone with previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a residential care setting. You should have a solid understanding of the Care Quality Commission's regulatory framework and be confident in leading teams, managing risk, and supporting positive outcomes for residents. A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards it) is highly desirable.
