We are looking for an operational cost analyst to work in a FUN dynamic and exciting environment. We put a lot of investment into our colleagues and are committed to ensure that you receive the relevant training to provide you with the opportunity to progress.


As an operational cost analyst, you will be part of a team that assists with cost control and reporting that collectively manages circa 250+ annual OPEX budget used to pay Asda's technology suppliers who provide Asda with support or services.


The role is responsible for assisting with the annual spend of specific suppliers

Responsibilities

Assisting with the raising of Purchase Orders and receipting of invoices Produce Daily/Weekly/Monthly reports as required Providing support with data analysis on supplier costs Identify opportunities for cost savings - (save money work smarter) Working with Accounts Payable to ensure payments are processed correctly

Key Requirements

Organised and diligent with the ability to adhere to deadlines Logical and methodical approach to analysing data Confident with Excel, Word and PowerPoint An appetite for self-development and hard work - all with a smile

Desirable requirements



Experience of SAP

Over and above this, each area of Asda may have additional requirements which may require spending more days in the office, visiting suppliers, stores or depots.
