Department Objectives
The Revenue Optimization team operates as a division within Sentric. Its objectives are to:
Maximize revenue streams from all potential sources
Identify and develop new areas of potential income growth for client's catalogues
Partner with internal teams to ensure client expectations are exceeded - supporting strong retention, renewals and client base growth
Ensure clients are at the centre of all activity, ensuring Sentric's ethos of fairness, transparency and customer focus is evident at all times
Job Summary
Reporting to the Revenue Optimisation Department Manager and working closely with the Copyright, Royalties and Insights functional teams, the Operational Insights Manager will lead the Operational Audit and Insights team. The role focuses on using data to improve registration accuracy, royalty performance and operational efficiency, delivering projects that drive revenue growth and strong commercial decisions across Sentric.
Team Management
Managing the day-to-day operations of the Audit and Insights functions within the Revenue Optimisation Department, using data insights and experience to identify key areas of focus, leading a small, specialized team
Continually assess the operations and performance of the team and work with management to improve and implement robust processes and working practices.
Work with Revenue Optimization Manager to ensure the continual development of Revenue Optimization team skills
Audit & Revenue Optimisation
Strengthen & expand data-driven initiatives to deliver measurable competitive advantage for Sentric
Leverage advanced data-capabilities to identify and create new value externalization opportunities
Lead the implementation of a seamless registration audit process to ensure Sentric is optimizing revenue potential through data intelligence, process improvement and strategic audit leadership
Insights & Reporting
Ownership and accountability for the delivery, maintenance and ongoing development of operational insights products and services to enhance and support data driven decision making
Work across all areas of Operations to continually review and maintain data driven KPIs to assess company performance and empower teams and individuals with relevant insights to drive decision making and support continuous improvement.
Closely collaborate with the Rights & Royalties Departments to translate business challenges and strategic requirements into actionable objectives
Support Product Development through the provision of evidence based recommendations and insights
Strategy & Governance
Work with the Head of Insights and other Insights/Analytics professionals across the company to ensure a consistent approach and methodology for data analytics across the business and to promote a single source of truth
Responsible for driving improved data capability in the Operation area through training, coaching and support and ensuring consistent access to data and tooling to enable self-service analytics where appropriate
Strive for maximum automation, standardisation and utilisation of reporting and insights in an easily digestible format
Qualifications
Proven experience within a data analysis, tracking or audit role, ideally within the entertainment industry
Strong analytical mindset with technical and problem-solving ability
Skilled in prioritisation, organisation and deadline management
Ability to work autonomously and balance project-based and operational workstreams
Experience managing projects or delivering business change initiatives in fast-paced, tech-led environments
Results orientated with a collaborative approach to achieving outcomes
Excited by presenting complex ideas in a clear and engaging manner
Experience querying and extracting data from large and complex datasets using SQL
Working knowledge of data visualisation tools (e.g. PowerBI/Tableau/Looker)
Previous line management experience would be desirable
