We have an exciting opportunity for a flexible, enthusiastic and committed Occupational Therapist to work in the Operational Lead role in the Community Integrated Neurology and Stroke Service (CINSS) which is integral to Community Health Services. The CINSS model of care involves transformation and partnership working across organisational and multi professional boundaries.
The successful candidate will join a specialist multi-professional team comprising of Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Dietetics, Neuropsychology, Generic Rehabilitation Technical Instructors and Neurology Rehabilitation Consultant, working closely with Speech and Language Therapy services. The team provides patient centred, goal directed specialist neurological rehabilitation in community and outpatient settings.
This post requires an experienced and dedicated Occupational Therapist who will work closely with Operational Leads, Specialist Occupational Therapists, Specialist Physiotherapists and the wider multi disciplinary team.
Enthusiasm for management, leadership, organisational and team working roles is required. You will have responsibility for the day to day management of a team providing operational leadership alongside clinical and managerial supervision to Allied Health Professional's. Involvement in quality improvement and transformation projects is integral to this role. You will need clinical skills and experience working in the field of stroke and/or neurology, experience working within the community setting would be desirable. The role involves responsibility for a clinical caseload.
This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team delivering specialist rehabilitation across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
The team's hub is at Braunstone Health and Social Care Centre (BHSCC), along with spoke bases across Leicester City, Leicestershire and Rutland. The base for this role will be Braunstone Health and Social Care Centre. You will work 37.5hrs per week Monday-Friday.
