This role is responsible for promoting and embedding Experian's Risk Management Framework processes within the UK&I business. This includes implementing and embedding the tools, policies, standards and procedures required for the business to manage its current and emerging risks.
Key Responsibilities:
The role assists the UK&I Head of Risk in driving the Regional Risk Profile and the maturity in Risk Management activities
Communicating areas of exposure and recommended areas of focus to the Senior Operational Risk Manager
Monitoring and analysing risks within the UK&I region across the various business units and reporting on material areas of existing and potential exposure
Reporting on the business risk profile with visibility of key areas of materiality and identification of any key changes in risk materialisation/assessment and control effectiveness
Co-ordinating with other Risk Managers to identify thematics and concentrations
Keeping abreast of industry changes and development that could impact the organisational risk profile
Support the establishing, maintenance and delivery of risk management policies and protocols
Advise on potential risk impacts across the organization spanning enterprise risk disciplines
Collaborate across business units to ensure risk management is comprehensive
Provide guidance and training to risk owners and other stakeholders on the application of the risk management framework, tools, and techniques
Conduct assurance activities and deep dives to explore areas of exposure and provide recommendation
Qualifications
Experience in a risk environment
Strong analytical skills
Strong decision-making skills
Previous experience within Financial services or a Regulated environment preferred
Experience in working within a 2nd Line Governance function
Relevant risk certifications
IRM Certification/Diploma, Risk Related qualifications
