The Role: Health & Wellness Trainer - Operational/Manufacturing
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Health & Wellness Division at VN Labs Ltd ahead of its move to a new, multimillion-pound, purpose-built manufacturing facility. The role will support both office and production staff, with a primary focus on the production facility as the site works towards BRC accreditation.
The position involves developing, delivering, and maintaining technical training programmes to ensure production staff operate manufacturing processes efficiently and safely, while remaining compliant with quality and regulatory standards. The role will support onboarding, skills development, continuous improvement, and overall workforce competency across the company.

Days/Hours: Monday to Friday - 06:00 - 14:00

Role and Responsibilities:
Support Training Activities - assist all departments with training, assist in developing new training or methods of training.
Train employees on production procedures, equipment
Ensure all training activities comply with food safety, health & safety, GMP and company standards.
Complete and file scheduled inductions, training tasks, annual refreshers and the related documentation.
Identify training needs and develop training plans collaborating with supervisors and mentors.
Ensure all employees documentation is up to date.
At all times maintain high standards of product quality, hygiene, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice).
Ensure all machinery and equipment used on the site has the relevant documentation: Risk assessments, SOP's and training documentation.
Assess employee's performance and skills for independent work.
Support the management team with all aspects of training related activities.
Write SOP's and RA's complying with the relevant standards.
Manage, track and store training records, maintain accurate documentation within the learning system.
Support audits by providing training records and demonstrating competency programs.
Conducting departmental, systems and traceability training audits.

Excellent organisational and record keeping abilities
Skills and Qualifications:
A good standard of education
IT skills to create relevant documentation.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to prioritise workload and multi-task effectively
Proactive, able to work well both under own direction and within a team
Able to communicate at all levels within the business
Has a basic understanding of training methods
Strong knowledge of GMP, food safety, hygiene and production workflows
Experience (not essential) in protein manufacturing
Ability to translate complex technical processes into practical training
