Main Purpose of Job





Reporting to the Learning and Development Manager, this role entails identifying operational training needs and subsequently designing and implementing training courses and packages to address these requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a diverse range of training, including new starter induction, DCPC training, MHE, and other essential requirements as deemed appropriate by the Learning and Development Manager. You will take on additional responsibilities as directed by the Learning and Development Manager. This could include representation at various business meetings and leading on and working with various awarding bodies.

The primary objective is to consistently deliver training to the highest possible standards, strictly adhering to Company policies, thereby ensuring that both Management and Operational employees possess the requisite skills and competence to perform their duties and contribute effectively to the overall success of the Company. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the Learning and Development Manager, which could encompass representation at various business meetings and leading initiatives in collaboration with awarding bodies.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities



Lead and present operational and non operational courses as directed by the Learning and Development Manager. Ensure all packages are kept up-to-date and incorporate all new procedures, services, relevant legislation and Codes of Practice. Be influential and persuasive in presenting and promoting the implementation of training solutions to middle and senior management. Manage training projects to completion when required. Make recommendations for improvements and implement change where appropriate. A sound knowledge of Cash Solutions' operation, procedures and systems. Utilise knowledge in all operational areas to enhance and improve business performance. Excellent customer skills and a strong awareness of the high quality standards demanded in a service industry. Good standard of up-to-date computer skills. Ability to analyse information in a systematic way and can work to strict deadlines. To deliver a range of operational and management training courses as directed by the Learning and Development Manager. To persuade and teach the importance of safety at operational level. Conducting training to the highest standard in order for employees to be equipped with the knowledge and understanding that allows them to carry out daily activities safely and correctly. To enforce the prioritisation of safety among all operational staff. To equip Operational employees with risk management skills so that they are aware of their obligations, and be able to deal with situations that arise whilst carrying out a service at or on our customers premises. To work with professionalism, honesty and integrity maintaining confidentiality. Compile and present reports on training issues or projects when requested. Ensure the correct completion of training and licensing documentation is carried out. Carry out evaluation of operational training on Branches/CC's & Hubs and follow up this process for all trainees. Ensure all training materials are current and incorporate new procedures, services, relevant legislation, and Codes of Practice. Produce detailed reports, training solutions and give presentations to management groups as well as tutor on training courses. Identify and share best practice for the benefit of the Learning and Development Department and the Company. Monitor training history and evaluate assessment outcomes, ensuring agreed level of attainment is achieved and maintained. To ensure accurate and timely training records are maintained for courses delivered. To respond professionally and accurately to all questions and queries raised by learners. Engage and collaborate with other internal departments to ensure a cohesive training programme delivery. Actively contribute and support your colleagues within the department and the HR function. In conjunction with other departments investigates and makes recommendations on reported training issues within agreed time scales. Produce comprehensive reports, develop training solutions, and deliver presentations to management groups, in addition to instructing on training courses.

We also have some specific security criteria that you will need to meet:



You must be able to pass a criminal record check as well as a personal credit and ID check. You'll need to provide 10-year employment/unemployment/educational history that we can check and verify. You will need to be prepared to undergo airport style searches when entering and leaving our premises and be comfortable working within a secure warehouse environment.

This role will be subject to a medical review, which may include a medical assessment with an occupational health practitioner. We will provide all the training and support to help you to progress as a key member of our world-class team.
