We are looking for a proactive Operations Administrator to join our busy operations team and help ensure smooth day-to-day processes across order management, logistics, and customer support.

The Role



As an Operations Administrator, you'll be a vital bridge between account managers, customers, the warehouse, and transport partners, making sure orders flow smoothly from start to finish. You'll process orders accurately, coordinate deliveries, and ensure our customers receive the highest level of service.

Day-to-day, you'll balance and respond to the demands of account managers, handle queries from customers directly, work with the warehouse to prepare shipments, and liaise with couriers and hauliers to arrange transport. This means you'll need to prioritise effectively, keep communication clear, and adapt quickly when plans change.

The role is fast-paced and varied, requiring strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities at once. You'll often need to think on your feet, solving problems such as delivery delays, stock queries, or urgent last-minute changes. It's a hands-on, detail-focused position where your accuracy and communication skills will make a real difference to the smooth running of our operations and the service we deliver.

Key Responsibilities



Process customer orders accurately in

Sage 200

. Book transport and liaise with couriers and hauliers to ensure timely deliveries. Handle customer enquiries via phone and email, providing professional and efficient service. Maintain accurate records and reports in

Excel

. Support the operations team with general administrative tasks. Work closely with sales, warehouse, and customer service teams to resolve queries quickly.

About You



We're looking for someone with strong organisational skills, who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys problem-solving.

Experience & Knowledge:



Previous experience using Sage 200. Proven background in order processing and transport booking. Confident in Excel (formulas, data entry, reporting). Strong customer service experience.

Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. Excellent multi-tasking and organisational skills. A natural problem solver with attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Team player with a positive, proactive attitude.

Pay: 26,000.00-30,000.00 per year
