The Operations Administrator role supports the effective delivery of operational administration functions based at Head Office. This position plays a key role in ensuring that day-to-day administrative activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with business objectives.
Reporting to the Operations Admin Manager, this role is suited to a motivated individual who is organised, proactive, and keen to develop their skills within an operational environment.
Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to the operational administration team
Liaise with technical departments (gas, water, electric and streetlighting) and assist where necessary
Ensure all operational administration tasks are completed in line with agreed expectations and deadlines
Support the team with day-to-day administrative tasks and workload management
Undertake general administration duties, including planning and supporting administrative projects, monitoring progress, and reporting outcome
Complete and issue whereabouts documents to relevant departments and external customers
Programme works for Multi Utility Teams / Engineers as per customer requests when required
Write on site procedures for utility connections
Assist in Asset Value processing
Audit completed work packs
Knowledge and Skills
Competent in using office software (e.g. Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and in-house systems)
Previous administrative experience in an operational or office-based environment (desirable)
Be familiar with multi-utility business processes and procedures (desirable)
Understanding of and commitment to company values

This is a full-time position working within an office environment
