Job description
Join one of Bristol's fastest-growing technology companies as an Operations Administrator. This role involves maintaining a well-organised and secure office environment and supporting various administrative tasks across the business. The ideal candidate is a proactive and experienced administrator with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy, varied schedule.
This is a permanent role split between our London and Bristol offices. The working pattern for this role is 4 days in the office and one day remote. This is a full-time, permanent role, although part-time or flexible working could be discussed where necessary. This role has a 6-month probation period.
Responsibilities
Induction Tasks: Preparing welcome packs, staff cards, and conducting welcome tours for new employees
Logistics: Organizing couriers and equipment returns
Office Supplies & Maintenance: stock take and managing office maintenance
Rota Management: Managing car park and workplace rotas
Asset & Security Management: Overseeing asset management and office security
Mail & Visitors: Handling physical post distribution and managing external visitors
Communications: Managing operations board on ConnectWise manage, helpdesk overflow calls, and monitoring voicemail
Bookings: Booking internal QBRs, meeting rooms, travel and accommodation
Acting as a company office e.g. Fire marshal, H&S officer, First aider or Mental health first aider
Purchasing: Handling pre-approved purchasing including birthday orders, office lunches, office canteen and cleaning stock, and small IT requests
Diary Management: Offering diary support to company directors as needed
Experience
Proven work experience within an admin role in a fast-paced environment
Experience of delivering high level customer satisfaction
Experience using Microsoft 365 Office Applications (SharePoint, Teams)
Proven experience working with external or in house systems
Experience working within the IT sector is an advantage, but not a requirement
Education/Qualifications
A Levels or equivalent experience
