We are recruiting for an Operations Administrator to join an established and forward-thinking logistics company in St Albans.

A fast-paced and dynamic organisation who offer an interesting and varied role where you can follow a process from start finish and see tangible results. You will be based within modern offices and a vibrant department.

This role would suit an individual who is passionate, ambitious and wishes to develop a career in international logistics, while working for a financially strong and stable company.

Our client has a proven record of developing individuals from within and outside the transport and logistics industry, and although experience will be of an advantage, if you are a graduate, possess excellent communication skills, and have a desire to progress in a successful but demanding environment, your application will be seriously considered!

What\'s in it for you:

Salary: up to \xc2\xa325k, depending on experience

Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00-17:30 and 1 in 6 Saturday mornings 08:00-11:00

22 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays

Varied and busy role within a vibrant and diverse office

Dealing with companies globally in a fast-paced environment

Key responsibilities:

Auditing client orders which are received mostly via email

Inputting client orders into the operations system

Assist with the completion of customs formalities

Booking orders with clients/manufacturers

Telephone answering/query resolution

Working closely with the Ops Manager you will be playing a key role in improving the efficiency of the existing team

What the employer is looking for:

A recent graduate/school leaver with a passionate and ambitious approach OR experience of working within a relative position.

Excellent, confident communication skills (written & verbal)

Strong attention to detail

A confident personality with a can-do attitude

Numerate and literate - must be able to explain complex logistical issues concisely
