For our European Regional Office based in London, starting at the earliest date possible, we are looking for an: Operations Analyst.
YOUR ROLE
To act as the Regional COO's right hand in driving operational excellence, performance management and decision making across regional operations. Combining analytical acumen with effective communication you will play a central role in the successful delivery of our regional operations strategy.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Develop and maintain effective reporting to enable daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance management. Create and maintain a 'Europe COO Dashboard' to track performance on core objectives.
Analysis of key performance indicators trends and consistently address performance to defined objectives. Proactively ensure ''early warning signs'' are also quantified and flagged to decision makers.
Continuously improve and develop models that can be deployed to identify actions and priorities. Coordinate with regional/global colleagues to adopt and share best practices.
Collaborate on various regional projects and provide project management support to ensure that activities are completed on schedule.
Develop and drive 'seasonal contingency planning' processes together with regional and head office colleagues to ensure operational continuity and limited disruption for clients.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Knowledge of shipping, logistics or integrated transport services.
Demonstrable experience in top-tier consulting, ideally with experience within logistics, shipping or supply-chain industries.
Strong knowledge of data analysis, business intelligence and data visialisation software (e.g. Qliksense or similar).
Strong inter-personal skills and ability to collaborate across cultures and organisational levels.
Structured thinker, proactive problem-solver, deploys data to drive business outcomes.
Advanced analytics, data visualization with proven ability to communicate at various levels.
Fluency in English is required; other major European (French) language desirable.
