About Sherpa Cleans



Sherpa Cleans is a growing cleaning and linen company supporting residential and business clients across Edinburgh and surrounding areas. We provide end-to-end cleaning solutions - including deep cleans, end of tenancy cleans, builders cleans, and carpet and upholstery cleaning - alongside linen management for key clients.

We're looking for a reliable, organised and hands-on person to support day-to-day operations based in our premises in Leith. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of admin, logistics, stock control, and customer communication. The ideal candidate is flexible, works well under pressure and enjoys a fast paced environment.

The Role



As our Operations and Admin Assistant , you'll help keep the business running smoothly behind the scenes. You'll support both the linen side of the company (packing, reconciliation, stock counts) and the cleaning side (enquiries, communication with clients and cleaners, and general coordination). You'll handle phone calls, respond to emails and keep on top of instant messaging platforms.

This is a varied role - you'll be trusted with important tasks, and you'll get stuck in where needed.

Key ResponsibilitiesLinen Operations



Sorting and preparing

bag tags

(planning ahead)

Packing linen bags

accurately and efficiently

Counting dirty and clean linen

Completing

reconciliation with linen supplier

Supporting

stock counting and stock control

Monitoring consumables and maintaining organised storage

Stock & Supplies



Managing and placing

consumables orders

Tracking usage, preventing shortages, and keeping stock records up to date

Communication & Coordination



Managing the

enquiries inbox and phone enquiries

Supporting

client communications

Supporting

staff communications

Tracking and supporting

vehicle allocation / vehicle tracking

Helping keep schedules and day-to-day logistics organised

What We're Looking For



We don't need someone with a fancy background - we need someone who is

reliable, organised and proactive.



You should be:

Detail-focused

(counts and reconciliation need to be accurate) Comfortable with

basic admin

(email, phone, simple tracking systems) Confident communicating professionally (we'll support you at the start) Happy doing a mix of

hands-on tasks + office-based tasks

Able to work independently and use initiative Reliable and consistent - this role will become a key part of the team

Bonus if you have experience in:



Administration, operations, warehouse/logistics, or stock control Customer service Excel/ other systems - if you don't, don't worry!
