Overview



ABASK is seeking a highly organised and systems-driven Operations Lead to support the CFO in overseeing and improving operational performance across the business. Based in the UK, this role will require regular on-site presence at the UK Distribution Centre in Northampton. The successful candidate will manage global logistics operations, uphold stock integrity, and ensure business visibility and efficiency through Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. This role also collaborates closely with the Tech Product Director and cross-functional teams on strategic business improvements.

Key Responsibilities Supplier & Carrier Coordination



Support supplier and carrier relationship management, including contract negotiations and performance monitoring. Contribute to refining delivery options, packaging strategies, and sustainability efforts. Negotiate commercial terms, rates, and service- level agreements (SLA's) with carriers and 3PL providers. Oversee and ensure carrier and freight forwarders comply with on-time delivery and service commitments and report back monthly to the business. Oversee all claims with 3PL providers including damages and weight queries. Act as main point of contact for carriers and internal departments, resolving escalations and maintaining strong, reliable relationships. Oversee carrier onboarding, compliance, and integration with internal systems. Maintain and oversee compliance for all transport and operations including documentation and insurance. Collaborate with finance on invoice validation and cost reporting Analyse shipping data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimisation. Support sustainability initiatives through carrier partnerships and greener delivery solutions.

Multi-Warehouse Fulfillment & Logistics



Lead 3PL provider reviews and quarterly business reviews to drive accountability and improvements Support the CFO in coordinating fulfilment operations across UK, U.S., and third- party logistics providers. Liaise with DC teams to ensure product handling, accuracy, and SLA standards are met consistently.

Inventory & Stock Integrity



Maintain accurate stock records through audits, reconciliation, and issue resolution across all sites. Partner with planning and buying teams to align stock availability with trading plans and demand patterns. Improve inventory control processes, reducing errors and increasing confidence in data quality.

ERP System: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central



Support operations by maintaining product and supplier data accuracy. Build dashboards and reports for performance tracking, inventory visibility, andfulfilment KPIs. Promote ERP best practices and assist internal users with Business Centraladoption.

Cross-Functional Business Improvements



Partner with the Tech Product Director on operational and systems enhancements that improve efficiency and scalability. Contribute to the evaluation and deployment of digital tools and automation initiatives. Support testing, documentation, and training for new processes or system features.

Operational Strategy & Support



Assist in strategic projects like the USA DC setup and other distribution infrastructure upgrades. Document SOPs, process flows, and operational handbooks for internal and external use. Provide project tracking and administrative support to strategic initiatives.

Project & Administrative Support



Coordinate and support a variety of initiatives including:
o Returns Portal development
o Gift Registry operations
o Special Order workflows

o Brand Events

o Photoshoots

Track timelines, prepare documentation, and support stakeholder communications.

Compliance, Property & Facilities



Help ensure trade, customs, and safety compliance across sites. Assist with office and property management tasks including insurance and leaseagreements. Manage office supplies, equipment, and relationships with external vendors. Coordinate office maintenance, cleaning, and facilities management. Maintain health & safety procedures, including risk assessments and compliance with UK legislation.

Candidate Profile



We're looking for a systems-literate, operationally skilled individual who thrives in a cross-functional, international environment. You will bring:

Proven experience in operations, supply chain, or logistics roles involving multi- warehouse coordination. Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP systems. Strong background in stock accuracy, inventory control, and fulfilmentprocesses. Excellent project coordination and documentation skills. Comfort working both strategically and hands-on, particularly during peakperiods. Experience supporting or implementing new warehouse launches is a plus Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills to work effectively with finance, tech, and creative teams.
