Job Description

Gain hands-on experience in plant operations, waste management, and equipment maintenance while working with cutting-edge technology. You'll be trained to:

Assist in Plant Operations: Support the monitoring and operation of plant equipment such as boilers, turbines, and generators. Waste Handling & Processing: Help with the sorting and processing of incoming waste materials, ensuring they are suitable for energy conversion. Maintenance Support: Assist with routine checks and basic maintenance to ensure plant equipment is functioning optimally. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to health, safety, and environmental protocols to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with regulations. Data Collection & Reporting: Gather and report on operational data (e.g., energy output, emissions) for internal use and regulatory compliance. Team Support: Work with other team members to troubleshoot operational issues and ensure smooth plant operations. Training & Development: Participate in training sessions to develop technical skills and knowledge in waste management, energy production, and sustainability.

Entry Requirements

We are seeking applications from candidates who have or are predicted to gain 5 x GCSEs (or equivalent). Grades must be A-C / 9-5 for Maths and A-C / 9-4 for English, Science and two other subjects. Also if you have completed AS, A Levels or BTEC National in Engineering and are looking for a challenging and rewarding career, we'd love to hear from you.
