Join our growing clothing manufacturing company as we expand into a new warehouse facility. You'll support our operations team by assisting with inventory management, shipping coordination, and logistics between our two sites. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone looking to grow their career in operations and logistics.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Support: Assist with maintaining accurate stock levels, help organise warehouse storage systems, support regular stock takes
Shipping & Logistics: Help process and dispatch customer orders, assist with courier coordination
Inter-Site Coordination: Daily van runs between warehouse and production facility, collecting finished goods and delivering materials
Quality Control: Assist with inspecting incoming goods, ensure proper storage conditions, help maintain product quality standards
Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks, suggest efficiency improvements, help implement new systems
General Warehouse Operations: Receive deliveries, organise storage areas, maintain clean and safe working environment
Essential Requirements
Full UK driving license with clean record (van driving required)
1+ years experience in shipping, logistics, or inventory management
Physical fitness for manual handling and warehouse work
Basic computer skills and comfort with learning new software
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Reliable and punctual - our two-site operation depends on timing
