We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Operations Assistant to assist in the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and a logistical mindset. This role requires excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The Operations Assistant will assist in ensuring the smooth functioning of our office while supporting staff and management.
Duties
Coordinate and oversee the booking of jobs including allocation of appropriate resources.
Assist with the answering of incoming enquiries and queries from existing customers.
Handle human resources responsibilities such as onboarding new employees and managing employee records.
Perform quality control within the office.
Assist in the development of office policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
Oversee the management of the group's property portfolio, ensuring the group is compliant with landlord related regulations.
Assist with ensuring compliance with the group's ISO accreditations, Health and Safety regulations and other regulatory bodies (full training will be given).
Review the group's insurance renewals, ensuring a competitive price if achieved.
Work closely with the Operations Manager, Head of Operations and Director on company projects.
Experience
The successful candidate will have:
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
A strong logistical mindset.
Strive for quality - work to a high standard, showing care and thought in all you do and holding others to that same standard.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on professionalism.
A background in clerical work, demonstrating attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks undertaken.
Self motivated and able to motivate others.
