What you'll do





As an

Operations Associate

in the

Funding and Disbursements

team, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth movement of money across our investment platform. Your responsibilities will include:Processing and verifying client funding requests, withdrawals, and payments. Ensuring timely and accurate disbursement of funds in line with regulatory and internal guidelines. Investigating and resolving payment issues, including failed transactions or mismatches. Liaising with custodians, banks, and advisor firms to ensure efficient cash flow and reconciliation. Maintaining accurate records and ensuring data integrity across financial systems. Participating in team meetings and contributing to process improvements. Receiving cross-training to support other operational functions as needed.


The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need





We welcome applications from both entry-level candidates and experienced professionals. You'll ideally bring:



For entry-level applicants:


Recent graduate or equivalent, with 5 GCSEs including Maths and English Language. Minimum of 2 A Levels or equivalent qualifications. Eagerness to learn and grow within a regulated financial environment.

For experienced professionals:

Background in platform operations or financial services administration. Familiarity with trade lifecycle processes, settlements, and client servicing. Proven ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.

In both cases, you'll also need:

High attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. A proactive mindset and willingness to support wider team activities.


The base





You'll be based at the

Benchmark Head Office

, within our Broadlands Business Campus near Horsham in West Sussex but will need to be present across our other offices, including the main Schroders headquarters in London. It has high standards and international reputation, without being in the city: a big, countryside campus means life will feel a little different.

We support our offices by using cutting edge software and hardware and our spacious campus facilities mean there's a great working environment for the team. With an on-site restaurant, coffee shop and gym, our campus has much to offer. And commuters can relax on our dedicated regular shuttle bus to and from Horsham's main line train station.
