Your Role
Due to continuing business growth, We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to support our daily administrative and operational tasks. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career who's interested in business operations, process improvement, and quality systems.
You'll play a key role in keeping our internal processes running smoothly, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting compliance with ISO and quality management standards. This is an office based role with a minimum of 4 days per week onsite. We offer flexibility around your schedule, but expect a standard 40-hour week, with core hours between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM to encourage collaboration.
Your Responsibilities
Asset and Resource Management:
Aid with the organisation of vehicle, plant and equipment maintenance/calibration/LOLER inspections and repair
Aid with maintenance of employee authorisations and training records
Workflow and Service Operations:
Work with CRM and job management systems to track job progress, maintain records, and ensure data accuracy
Aid with quoting, scheduling, and invoicing where required
Executive and Team Coordination:
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the operations team
Manage calendars, assist with scheduling meetings, and coordinate internal activities
Support with data entry, reporting, and general admin duties
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
Provide clients and interested parties with required compliance documents
Track document revisions and assist with audit and compliance preparations
Aid with drafting, reviewing, and updating internal policies and procedures
Collaborate with other departments to gather input for policy and documentation updates
Information and Records Governance:
Maintain organised filing systems (both digital and physical)
Process Development and Systems Improvement:
Create and document process flows to improve operational efficiency and clarity across departments
Complete minor programming tasks such as creating question sets for engineers, tailored to job types and compliance information requirements
About You

Essential:
Excellent organisational skills and keen attention to detail
Clear written and verbal communication
Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Comfortable with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and IT software
Experience working with CRM or job management systems
Eagerness to learn about ISO standards and document control practices
A go-getter, problem solver, and solution finder who shows initiative, has a can-do attitude, and is ready to take on the role and make it their own
A-C GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English required; further education is a plus
Desirable:
Previous admin or office support experience
Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality frameworks
Experience with document control systems or project management tools
Experience creating process documentation or flowcharts
Basic understanding of programming logic or form/question set creation

Salary:
27,000-32,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours:
25-30 hours a week, Monday - Friday (core hours 9:30 am -2:30pm)
