Operations Director Cypf

Cambridge, United Kingdom

Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior, experienced, operational manager to further develop their strategic thinking and leadership skills as the Operations Director (OD) for the Children's, Young People and families Directorate, (CYPF) and Clinical Directorate at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT), working directly with the Chief Operating Officer.
The OD role is a visible leadership position providing operational oversight of CYPF, to maintain quality of care, safety, patient experience and flow, ensuring the delivery of activity and outcomes within the budgeted resources available. The role will ensure that the CYPF services meet the needs of the changing demography of the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough population and offer equal and equitable access to service users and offers equal and inclusive opportunities for the workforce.
CYPF incorporates Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and physical health services in the community, in addition to neurodevelopment services. These services are commissioned by Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Integrated Care System (ICS), NHS England Specialist Commissioning as well as other external parties. There are a number of partnership arrangements, working with Cambridge Community Services as well as charitable organisations.
Main duties of the job
This role is required to drive strategic developments in support of the NHS Long Term Plan, energise planned transformative changes for effective and efficient service delivery, and ensure that our staff are well supported to provide personalised care centred around our service users.
With significant existing senior management experience in a complex healthcare setting, the successful candidate will need a track record of delivering high quality clinical services, leading and managing service redesign and performance management.
We're looking for someone who demonstrates attention to detail, is adaptable, committed to the delivery of high quality care and is an active team player, politically astute and able to communicate at all levels. You will be a compassionate leader, who treats all colleagues, patients and service users with respect and be committed to equality, diversity and inclusion.
