60,000 + plus car allowance or vehicle
The Operations Director owns the safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery of Building Services projects. The role provides leadership to Project Managers and Site teams, ensures subcontract awards are made in line with procurement plans, and manages client relationships throughout project lifecycles. The Operations Director is accountable for overall project delivery performance, ensuring compliance with program, commercial, safety, and quality objectives.

Project Delivery Leadership Own safe, on-time, on-budget delivery of all Building Services projects. Lead and support Project Managers and Site teams, setting clear expectations and driving accountability. Chair regular delivery reviews, ensuring consistent reporting, escalation of risks, and resolution of issues. Client Relationships Maintain and enhance client relationships, acting as primary escalation point for project delivery. Ensure client expectations are met and exceeded in line with ARH Group standards. Commercial & Risk Management Work closely with the Commercial & Controls Director to manage project commercials, risks, and back-office support. Ensure early escalation of risks, claims, or contractual matters. Oversee procurement planning and subcontract awards in line with strategy. Ensure suppliers and subcontractors deliver to agreed program, quality, and cost expectations. Health, Safety & Compliance Act as Principal Contractor duty-holder where applicable. Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and company H&S policies. Champion a culture of zero harm and proactive safety engagement across all projects.

Required Skills & Experience



Proven track record in managing delivery of Mechanical & Electrical Building Services projects. Proven Strong leadership experience, with ability to manage multi-disciplinary project teams. Demonstrable commercial awareness and understanding of contract management. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with ability to build strong clients and supply chain relationships. In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and compliance obligations within construction and M&E sectors. Professional Qualification - Must hold or be working towards the APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ). (or similar)
