Responsible for the overall daily management of the Operations department related to all Cargo operations, ensuring the operation is kept up to date and is always compliant in accordance with the Regulations to ensure the daily support for the Company's strategy and on time performance is maintained.
Key accountabilities & responsibilities of the role:
Responsible for oversight and control of daily Operations requirements related to Cargo Operations, Messaging and Compliance. Supporting on-time performance and operational delivery
Responsible for Customer, Crew and Dispatch liaison for flight scheduling and flight related issues when required
Must work closely with third party providers to support the delivery of the processes, procedures and dispatching of aircraft to the expected One Air and client standards
Review Flight Confirmations, Flight Briefs and Final Briefing packages
Responsible for reviewing any flight planning provided by the third-party provider and feedback enhancements as per the AOC regulations and the customers' requirements
Review all operational set ups that they comply with national authority regulations
Responsible for monitoring Flight Dispatch tasks carried out by third party providers as per the agreed requirements, National Authority Requirements and delivered in line with the Service Level Agreement.
Compliance monitoring in all areas of dispatch delivered by the third-party provider
Ensure a Pro-Active and timely response to feedback any communication, set-up, planning discrepancies with the third-party providers, crew and clients
Monitor all flight set ups to make sure compliant with all flight time limitations as set out in OMA chapter 7 for each AOC
Operational Systems administration to reflect Execujet client requirements
Deliver a safety culture and raise safety issues where and when required by the official channels
Fulfilling any required task of the One Air AOCs in relation to Ground Operations
Ensuring correct input of operational and flight related data
Monitoring the scheduling of flights and flight following
Assisting in travel and transport requirements where required
Sending of activity reports
Processing, reviewing of post flight paperwork where applicable
Ensuring the appropriate standards of safety and security are achieved in line with corporate requirements, government legislation and international best practice
Responsible for handling critical issues in a timely manner through liaison with crew, station managers, load masters, airport authorities and internal departments to effectively deal with potential barriers to effective operations
Excellent communications ensuring all communication channels are effective both with all external and internal stakeholders connected to cargo operations, including customer service teams, to ensure effective operational delivery
Responsible for targeting the reduction of cargo handling issues, and their consequences
Responsible for ensuring they maintain an in-depth knowledge of company operations, documentation, regulating authority requirements, relevant systems and procedures

Key skills, knowledge, experience required: (i.e. those required to fulfil the role, including qualifications):

Must have a sound knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken
Excellent and a very comprehensive knowledge of applicable regulations with respect to Dispatch Procedures, Ground Operations, Customs, Dangerous Goods and Security
A comprehensive knowledge of IATA and IOSA standards
Previous experience with a good knowledge and familiarity with aviation management systems
Must have had at least three years relevant work experience
Has a proven ability to plan and organise often fast moving ever changing operational needs on a daily basis
Excellent interpersonal and all-round communication skills with the ability to problem solve under pressure whilst ensuring the operation is fully supported
Excellent team and customer focus skills
Knowledge of the LEON flight software system
Experience in using the PPS flight planning system
Dispatchers Licence would be desirable but not essential
Any additional relevant information:
The post holder will be required to work Monday to Friday during initial training moving to a 4/4 shift pattern which will include some nights. You will need to be flexible with working hours. May be required to occasionally work overseas.
