PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: 45,000 - 50,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Based at the BBC headquarters in London, you will join a highly skilled team of Broadcast Engineers, providing 24/7/365 frontline support for hundreds of TV, Radio & Music recording studios, edit suites, digital production systems, and a wide range of underpinning technologies and infrastructure.
You will play a vital role in ensuring that broadcast equipment and facilities are maintained, safe and available to productions teams creating content for TV, Radio and Online platforms. The team supports multiple sites in London and numerous international offices.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT
As a Broadcast Engineer, you'll be on the frontline, responsible for delivering high-quality, rapid response support to ensure that equipment and systems used to create, capture, manipulate and distribute BBC content meets targets for availability, performance and safety.
