PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: 40,500 - 50,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
As an Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and continuous operation of broadcast systems within the BBC site at Mediacity:UK in Salford as part of a team working 24/7 including night and weekend working. The successful candidate will ensure seamless delivery of broadcast services by managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing broadcast equipment, infrastructure, and workflows, supporting live and recorded content transmission, and collaborating with technical teams to deliver the highest quality output to audiences.
