JOB PURPOSE



This graduate-level position supports the Operations Excellence team in enhancing business processes, driving efficiency, and contributing to digital transformation across Skytanking's Airport Operations division. The role offers hands-on experience in operational improvement, commercial coordination, digital systems enablement, and data analytics.

The role is based within the Airport Operations division in London, England, supporting functions across the UK. It is an entry-level opportunity designed to develop future leaders in operational excellence and continuous improvement.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES LINKED TO OBJECTIVE AREAS



Operational Improvement & Support



Coordinate and support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives across departments. Assist in mapping, analysing, and optimising business processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste. Support change management activities including stakeholder coordination, communication, and rollout plans. Maintain and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practice documentation. Monitor and report on key operational metrics and performance indicators. Identify and escalate operational risks, recommending mitigation strategies as appropriate. Facilitate root cause analysis for operational incidents and support corrective action planning. Drive a culture of operational excellence, promoting employee engagement and recognition of improvement ideas.

Commercial & Administrative Coordination



Provide administrative support across commercial functions, including supplier coordination and document management. Maintain commercial trackers, contract registers, and procurement documentation using Excel and SharePoint. Prepare presentations, reports, and updates for internal and external stakeholders. Assist in tender preparation, bid support documentation, and supplier onboarding processes. Coordinate cross-functional meetings, prepare agendas, and document action items to ensure follow-through. Support audit preparation and compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements.

Systems Digital Tools Enablement



Assisted in the successful implementation of Skytanking's new Ground Operations System and CRM software by supporting system configuration, user training, data migration, and rollout coordination to ensure a smooth transition. Lead as a pioneer in our innovation strategy to enhance processes, improve safety and OTP, and drive ancillary revenue. Lead the paperless drive digitalising and automating (where possible) Skytanking's existing processes and paper-based forms. Configure and maintain digital workflows, forms, and task tracking solutions to support business needs. Collaborate with IT and internal users to gather feedback and implement system enhancements. Develop user guides and deliver training sessions to ensure successful adoption of new systems and tools. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with vendors or IT for timely resolution.

Data Analysis & Reporting



Collect, analyse, and interpret operational and commercial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities Develop and maintain dashboards and visual management tools using Power BI and other analytics platforms. Support management in decision-making through data-driven insights and recommendations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS



Qualifications



Recent graduate with a degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field.

Experience



No formal work experience required, but internships, placements, or project work in relevant sectors are desirable Experience in project management or participation in cross-functional project teams is an advantage.

Knowledge/Skills



Strong Microsoft 365 skills (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint); familiarity with Power BI or Power Automate is a plus. Analytical mindset and interest in continuous improvement. Excellent communication, organisational skills, attention to detail, particularly in handling data and documentation. Excellent interpersonal and coordination skills with the ability to liaise across departments. Self-starter with willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with change management and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is desirable. Interest in aviation, logistics, or industrial sectors is advantageous.

Language



Fluent in English (spoken and written). Additional European languages are a plus.

Mobility



Willingness to travel occasionally to operational sites across the UK and Europe.
