Overview

FleetEV and Plug Charging are seeking a proactive and highly organised Operations Executive to cover maternity leave. This position sits at the heart of business operations, providing critical support across project management, compliance, admin, marketing, and client relationships. The role requires a confident multitasker who is comfortable working across departments and adapting to dynamic priorities.

Key Responsibilities1. Executive & Project Coordination

- Operational tasks: managing schedules, meeting prep, follow-ups, and team coordination.

- Support and chase progress on internal projects across both FleetEV and PLUG Charging.

- Prepare reports, track actions, and document project milestones.

- Liaise cross-functionally (sales, ops, compliance, technical).

2. Marketing & Social Media

- Use Loomly, WordPress, Mailchimp, and Canva to manage and create posts and campaigns.

- Assist with newsletters, blogs, and web content

- Organise, create and maintain company docs and marketing collateral in Notion or equivalent.

3. Operational Systems & Process Support

- Assist with implementation and improvement of systems/processes to increase efficiency.

- Document SOPs, workflows, and templates.

- Coordinate logistics across key areas: Using our CRM and various other platforms.

- Maintain high standards of accuracy in operational and business docs.

4. PLUG Charging Support

- Support the PLUG Charging sub-brand with operations process design and execution.

- Track and manage projects: Progress, supplier and client coordination, and logistics.

- Collaborate with leadership to implement improvements.

5. Client Relationship Management

- Support customers by providing updates, answering queries, and managing expectations.

- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and partners to ensure a smooth delivery experience.

- Maintain a positive, solutions-focused attitude.

6. ISO Accreditation & Compliance (Bonus)

- Maintain up-to-date documentation and procedures for ISO 9001, 14001, 27001.

- Prepare for audits and support compliance across systems.

- Liaise with the Operations Manager, CTO, and external auditors as needed.

- Keep compliance records updated and easily accessible.

Person SpecificationMust-Have Skills & Qualities

- Highly organised and self-motivated, with strong attention to detail.

- Experience in operations, or similar cross-functional roles.

- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, Notion, and Microsoft 365.

- Excellent verbal and written communication.

- Ability to manage shifting priorities under pressure.

Bonus if You Have

- Experience with ISO audits and compliance standards.

- Marketing/content management skills (WordPress, Canva, Mailchimp).

- Previous experience in a mobility, transport, or sustainability-oriented business.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 25,000.00-32,500.00 per year
