We are seeking a detail-oriented and numerically confident
Operations & Finance Analyst
to support the commercial and operational side of the business, with a strong emphasis on sales data, cost tracking, Excel reporting and operational coordination.
This role replaces a long-standing position and is suited to someone with an accounts, finance administration, purchasing, stock replenishment or analytical operations background. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, spreadsheets and structured data, while also supporting wider office and logistics administration.
You will work closely with the Managing Director / GM and act as a key link between Sales, Accounts, Logistics and Operations
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Financial Data Analysis (Core Focus)
Maintain accurate sales-related data including costs, margins, fees and supporting figures
Prepare and maintain Excel-based reports and trackers for sales activity
Support basic profitability and cost analysis (data preparation and validation)
Track sales operations schedules, results and post-sales administration
Ensure sales data is correctly recorded and communicated for invoicing and dispatch
Maintain accurate stock tracking data for the site
Operations & Logistics Coordination
Coordinate shipping and container logistics with freight agents
Track shipment costs, arrival dates and documentation
Maintain organised records of logistics costs and supporting paperwork
Communicate ETAs and required actions to internal teams and external partners
Office & Compliance Administration
Support office operational duties and file contracts (utilities, vehicles, lease, service agreements)
Track renewal dates, costs and key compliance deadlines
Produce routine compliance and Health & Safety reports
Accounts & Administrative Support
Support Accounts with accurate data entry and reconciliations (information flow only)
Ensure cost data, invoices and supporting documentation are filed correctly
Process sales orders accurately to enable invoicing
HR & Office Administration (Non-Decision Role)
Maintain holiday, absence and sickness records
File HR documentation securely and confidentially
Order approved office and workshop supplies and track deliveries
Skills & Experience Required
Strong Excel skills (confident with formulas, spreadsheets and numerical accuracy)
Experience in an accounts, finance admin, operations analyst or analytical admin role
Comfortable working with costs, figures and structured datasets
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Able to manage multiple recurring deadlines
Confident communicator with internal teams and external suppliers
Highly Desirable
Exposure to fast-moving sales or trading environments
Experience coordinating logistics or freight
Familiarity with ERP or accounting systems (e.g. Odoo, Xero, Sage, SAP)

Reliable and comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Proactive in identifying data gaps or inconsistencies
Professional and discreet with sensitive information
What We Offer
Full-time, stable role (Monday-Friday, 08:30-17:00)
Salary of 28,000-32,000 per annum, depending on experience
28 days holiday per year (including bank holidays), increasing with service
