Role




We are looking for an Operations Lead for the Southwest region. Responsible for the day-to-day delivery of our services to our clients, ensuring operational workloads are on target to deliver a trusted service to our client on time, every time. The operations lead will be responsible for all NexGen operational workloads. You will report to the Senior Operations Manager.

How You'll Contribute



Responsible for the daily/weekly management of operational workloads, using company systems to ensure effective workload management and delivery of a trusted service. Maintaining excellent customer service relationships by liaising with clients to answer queries and providing technical assistance. Proactively working with the Senior Operations Manager to monitor current, and future workload delivery requirements, ensuring the operational management team delivers our services on time. Processing all works systematically, and punctually, through NexGen to deliver on time and allow our billing cycle to complete, minimising our Work In Progress (WIP) Working alongside the Technical Assurance Managers to maintain high standards of work ensuring any non-conformances identified during the quality control process are rectified and necessary improvements actions are followed up upon. Having a comprehensive understanding of Lucion's technical operating procedures and ensuring our work meets these standards through quality control checks. Loading and updating NexGen with all required data and relevant information Consistently ensure the technical accuracy & standard of all site work is uncompromised. Identifying opportunities to improve KPIs whilst maintaining margins. Representing Lucion in a management capacity via effective communication with the area's operational resource on a daily basis Ensuring we meet all contractual KPIs, delivering our service in line with contractual requirements. Inspiring the operational team to routinely achieve target earnings. Responding to day-to-day queries, enquiries and requirements Deputising for the Operations Manager in times of need / absence Undertaking any other duties requested by members of the operational management team.

Knowledge and Skills



In house, or external training, to a standard to satisfy any inspection/testing activities, having had practical experience of surveying and analytical air monitoring. Demonstrable experience of managing workloads and delivering on time. Demonstrable experience of coordinating a team, delivering work to a high standard Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work under time pressures in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining a calm demeanour. An aptitude for delivering on-time, every time. Relevant formal competence qualification(s) (ie P402/P403/P404/P405) Excellent IT and technical skills Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
