About the role:



Job Summary:



The Operations lead plays a pivotal role in enhancing the overall student experience at CECOS College London. You will be responsible for developing and implementing initiatives that promote student engagement, satisfaction, and success. This role requires a passionate and innovative individual who can create a vibrant and inclusive campus environment that supports students' personal, academic, and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:



Develop and implement strategies to enhance the overall student experience, including orientation programs, student support services, extracurricular activities, and campus events.

Collaborate with faculty, staff, and student organisations to create a diverse range of engaging and inclusive events and programs that cater to the interests and needs of the student body.

Provide leadership and guidance to student leaders and organizations, fostering their development and ensuring alignment with the college's mission and values.

Serve as a point of contact for students seeking support or guidance on academic, personal, or social matters, and connect them with relevant resources and services.

Oversee the management of student facilities, including student satisfaction, concern areas, etc to ensure they are welcoming, safe, and conducive to student well-being and success.

Develop and maintain effective communication channels to keep students informed about campus events, resources, policies, and opportunities.

Collect and analyse data on student engagement, satisfaction, and success to inform decision-making and continuously improve the student experience.

Collaborate with other departments, such as admissions, academic and student support services, to coordinate efforts and provide holistic support to students throughout their college journey.

Stay informed about current trends, best practices, and emerging issues in higher education and student affairs to inform program development and decision-making.

Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall mission and objectives of the college.

Daily meetings with all leads to understand the areas of improvement for great student experience.

Experience:



Proven experience in enhancing the student experience within a higher education or similar environment E Demonstrated ability to plan, implement, and evaluate initiatives that improve engagement, retention, and outcomes E Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and collaborate with diverse teams E Experience using data and management information to inform decision-making D

Skills & Knowledge:



Excellent written and verbal communication skills E Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and general IT systems E Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines E Analytical approach to problem-solving and service improvement E Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion across all activities E

Other Requirements:



Flexibility to work evenings and weekends to support student events and activities E Satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks (DBS, right to work, references, qualifications)E

Hours:

Full Time (40 hours per week)

Salary:

35,000 - 40,000 per annum (Depending on experience)

Location:

CECOS House, Regent Street, Leicester LE1 7BR (with occasional travel to Birmingham)

Director of Corporate Services
