You'll be one of the first people helping us build Clove from the ground up. Your work will directly shape how our customers interact with their advisors and manage their wealth for the first time in a human, guided, mobile-first way.
What you'll do:
Own and scale Clove's operational backbone -- from customer onboarding and support to advisor enablement and compliance oversight.
Act as the operational glue between engineering, product, advisors, and customers -- helping design and refine day-to-day workflows.
Build and maintain compliance processes including KYC, AML, PEP/sanctions screening, periodic re-verification, and internal audit readiness.
Implement and own early tooling for internal ops (in Retool or similar), supporting everything from user account review to advisor allocation and exception handling.
Support regulatory setup and communications, including helping prep for MiFID authorisation and ongoing reporting/compliance obligations.
Define operational KPIs and work closely with product/engineering to design systems that improve throughput, compliance, and customer experience.
What we're looking for:
5-10 years experience in fintech operations, ideally with exposure to both consumer products and regulated advisory or investment businesses.
Strong familiarity with UK/EU financial regulations, especially around client onboarding, AML/KYC, permissions, and suitability.
Comfortable working in zero-to-one environments -- designing new processes, not just running existing ones.
Experience configuring internal tools (e.g. Retool, Airtable, low-code dashboards), or partnering tightly with eng/product to do so.
Thoughtful, low-ego collaborator who thrives at the intersection of regulation, design, and delivery.
Bonus: exposure to scaling advisor businesses, portfolio execution workflows, or compliance-heavy CRM processes.
