What you'll be doing;
Assist with safe operation of Energy Recovery Facility and Clinical Waste Transfer Station
Perform weighbridge duties including waste entry documentation and permit compliance checks
Operate forklift for vehicle loading/unloading and bin management via hoist system
Conduct waste acceptance checks and ensure proper disposal routing
Assess and transfer bin contents to maintain efficient waste throughput
Operate wheeled bucket loader to manage waste reception area safely
Manage bin decanting, cleaning, storage and prevent waste overflow
Traffic management will be done around both the clinical transfer station and Energy Recovery Facility
What we're looking for;
Previous experience operating yellow plant machinery
Full clean UK driving license required
Strong knowledge and commitment to Health & Safety and Environmental standards
Excellent communication skills with positive, can-do attitude
Experience in heavy process/continuous production environments preferred
Current forklift and wheeled bucket loader qualifications desired
Prior experience in waste incineration and/or clinical waste industry beneficial
Computer literacy with ability to learn new software systems
