Cardnet Merchant Services is a dynamic joint venture between Lloyds Banking Group and Fiserv, focused on reshaping how businesses accept payments. As part of this journey, you'll be joining a collaborative leadership team that values shared accountability and cross-functional delivery.


As Operations Manager, you'll lead a multi-disciplinary team to deliver operational excellence and outstanding customer experiences. You'll play a key role in digitising our servicing model, embedding automation and AI, and driving performance across a broad operational portfolio. Working closely with colleagues across Cardnet, Lloyds Banking Group and Fiserv, you'll help shape our servicing strategy and ensure alignment with strategic priorities.


What you'll be doing:



Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and customer focus Deliver operational excellence through data-driven decisions, proactive risk management and service optimisation Drive and support change initiatives across regulatory, digital and process improvement agendas Champion digital customer experiences, workflow automation and straight-through processing journeys Collaborate with senior stakeholders across the joint venture to influence strategy and ensure seamless service delivery Monitor and enhance customer journeys, with a strong focus on fair outcomes and support for vulnerable customers

What you'll need:



Proven ability to lead and motivate operational teams in a complex regulated environment Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across complex organisational structures Deep understanding of operational delivery, risk management and customer experience Proven leadership skills with a track record of coaching and developing talent Ability to manage competing priorities and lead through change with resilience and clarity Ideally, you will have experience of the payments and acquiring landscape
