Due to expansion and project growth, we are now searching for an experienced senior level Operations Manager for our Kitchen and Bathroom refurbishment project throughout Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity to really utilise your Kitchen & Bathroom/K&B experience, you will lead a driven team to ensure a high volume but safe and efficient delivery. You will be managing a team of Site Managers, CLO's and their reports and a range of trusted K&B contractors. This is a fast-paced contract with high volume delivery (c5000 units) therefore experience of leading and delivering similar project is essential. Our teams and contractors are experienced and deliver exceptional service to our contracts, they require an experienced and effective leader to guide the operations.
The Customer
You will be part of one of Fortem's largest Social Housing contracts, Birmingham City Council. This is an expanding 50m Repairs & Maintenance, Capital Works and Retrofit contract and the largest social housing contract in Europe. We are responsible for over 22,500 properties in the Birmingham area including low, medium and a significant number of high-rise blocks. This is a fast paced, focused and dedicated contract which we have been re-awarded 3 times and we are very proud to be able to support this exceptional client.
Duties and Responsibilities
o Lead, develop and manage a large operational K&B team o Hold full P&L and operational responsibility for the Kitchen and Bathroom social housing refurbishment programmes o Liaise with and update pur custoer
What You Will Need
Essential o Kitchen and Bathroom social housing refurbishment experience o Extension Construction and Refurbishment experience o High volume projects experience o Sound operational experience within the Tier 1 / Social Housing sector o Management experience (direct and indirect teams will include Site Managers, Customer Liaison staff, Assistant Site Mangers and sub-contracted K&B trades staff). o Proven leadership and management experience o Excellent communication o SMSTS/CSCS o Full driving licence A basic DBS check will be carried out for this role
