Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee our daily operations and ensure the efficient functioning of our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to drive operational excellence. This role is pivotal in enhancing productivity, managing resources, and fostering a positive work environment. The candidate must have proven experience in the glazing industry and a deep understanding of PVC, Aluminium and Timber glazing products and installation processes.

Duties

Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness across all departments. Order processing with our suppliers Creating work schedules for our installation teams Surveyor knowledge is a bonus for the applicant Monitor daily operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Quality control on client installations and ensuring all installations are done to a very high standard Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process enhancement and cost reduction. Analyse performance metrics to inform decision-making and drive operational improvements. Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, suppliers, and clients. Ensure that health and safety regulations are adhered to within the workplace and on site.

Skills

Proven experience in an operations management role or similar position within a relevant industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams. Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills for data-driven decision-making. Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple priorities. Proficient in project management methodologies and tools. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organisation. Familiarity with financial management principles and budgeting processes is advantageous.
