We are looking for a proactive and highly organised Operations Manager to join our team at Greenbank Preparatory School and Day Nursery. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in facilities or operations management to help shape the smooth day-to-day running and future development of our school and nursery.
In this role, you will -
Oversee the maintenance, safety and improvement of our buildings and grounds, ensuring all areas are well-presented, secure and fit for purpose.
Lead on capital projects, including our upcoming nursery expansion and ongoing site enhancements.
Manage the lettings of school facilities, building relationships with hirers and ensuring bookings align with the school's values and priorities.
Prepare and monitor budgets relating to premises and operations, working closely with the Headteacher and finance team.
Oversee procurement, contractor relationships, and compliance with safeguarding and health & safety standards.
Lead and support the estates team, setting clear targets, streamlining processes, and fostering a positive, proactive working culture.
Ensure the school is fully compliant with health and safety regulations, conducting regular checks and risk assessments.
Support the school's long-term sustainability with practical, cost-effective solutions and efficient management.
