Operations Manager: 40,000 + Performance related Bonus

QuickSilver are seeking an experienced Operations Manager, in a newly created position, focused on growth for 2026 and beyond. We have ambitious plans to double our turnover, having tripled it over the last 5 years, and require an exceptional candidate to help achieve our goal.

About You

We're looking for a forward thinking, hands on candidate capable of juggling multiple tasks - with proven experience as an Operations Manager (or similar role), preferably in the automotive, aftermarket, automotive events, or performance engineering sector.

Based Monday-to-Friday 09:00-17:00 from our West Sussex HQ

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain & Inventory Management

Manage relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms, monitoring lead times, and ensuring on-target deliveries. Maintain optimal inventory levels across all SKUs (sub-assembly components, raw materials, finished goods) suited to our multi-marque portfolio. Work closely with Sales & Logistics to forecast demand, plan purchases, and anticipate demand-driven fluctuations.

Operational Strategy & Planning

Identify bottlenecks in workflow (e.g., inventory, production lead times) and drive continuous improvement. Customer Service & After-Sales Ensure after-sales operations (e.g., warranties, returns, technical support) run smoothly. Collaborate with the Sales team to resolve escalations related to delivery, quality, or incorrect parts. Deal with customer feedback / returns data to drive improvements in design, manufacturing, or quality.
