About the Role



An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operations Manager to lead a new accelerated cladding remediation programme in Bristol.

You'll take ownership of delivering compliant capital and retrofit works to the highest quality standards -- on time and within budget.

The initial programme covers the remediation of 2-4 high-rise blocks, with the potential to expand to 18 blocks based on performance. This is a chance to play a key role in a major, safety-critical project with clear long-term career prospects.

This is a site-based position, with flexibility for occasional remote working depending on project stage and business needs.

Key Responsibilities



Lead and inspire project teams, ensuring excellence across all areas of delivery Promote and uphold outstanding health, safety, and environmental practices Develop and deliver project strategies aligned with sustainability and compliance goals Manage commercial risk and maintain effective cost control Build and sustain strong relationships with clients, consultants, supply chain partners, and key stakeholders Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing teams to achieve exceptional results Provide technical guidance and support to both internal teams and clients Ensure robust quality management processes with zero defects as the target

Requirements



Extensive project management experience in construction, refurbishment, or remediation environments Proven success delivering high-rise building projects Essential experience with cladding, facade, and retrofit works Knowledge of fire remediation, curtain walling, fire protection, groundworks, and concrete repairs Experience managing retrofit projects in line with PAS 2035 or equivalent standards Excellent leadership and people management skills Strong understanding of construction operations, health & safety, and compliance requirements Full UK driving licence (maximum of 5 points)

Desirable:


SMSTS, CSCS Card, Scaffold Inspection experience, and First Aid at Work certification
