is responsible for overseeing the smooth and efficient delivery of cleaning contracts across multiple sites, ensuring high standards, team performance, and client satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills to manage a mobile workforce and uphold service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day delivery of cleaning services across a portfolio of residential and commercial properties
Lead, support, and coordinate cleaning teams to ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and client expectations.
Conduct regular site visits, inspections, and audits to maintain high service quality and H&S compliance.
Act as the main point of contact for client relationships, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
Coordinate with account management and sales teams to ensure seamless contract mobilisations and service transitions.
Manage scheduling, rota planning, equipment logistics, and operational resource allocation.
Ensure documentation is maintained, including incident reports, audits, and compliance checks.
Support with identifying operational training needs and deliver relevant upskilling opportunities.
Report on operational performance, cost efficiency, and customer feedback to senior leadership.
Skills & Experience Required
3+ years' experience in a cleaning leadership role.
Excellent people management and communication skills.
Experience in managing large, mobile or multi-site teams.
Strong understanding of cleaning methods, materials, and relevant regulations (including COSHH and H&S).
Ability to resolve issues effectively and build lasting client relationships.
Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel regionally.
