THE COMPANY



Pasturetec is an independent agricultural business, retailing to and advising the livestock sector.

We are retailers and wholesalers of essential products in grass and forage-based systems, offering grazing management advice, soil testing and analysis and a comprehensive range of soil testing services. We operate in the following channels including a retail store at Willington, at trade shows and exhibitions and online.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



supervise, manage and train staff in key areas;

maintaining excellent stock records to support a busy multi-channel sales environment;

effect timely procurement process to support customer demand on all channels;

support front line sales operations to fulfilment orders where necessary;

provide support on credit control activities;

complete a rolling perpetual stock check process;

. assist with finance duties to support the finance manager

participate fully in management review of performance (understanding volume and margins);

support the managing director with their tasks;

deputise as the store manager at the Willington site.

ROLE PURPOSE



The Operations Manager is an important role supporting the efficient and effective operation of the business and is responsible for all the accurate recording and reporting duties in our retail and wholesaling operations including stock purchasing, stock controls, customers sales and customer service.

It is a fast moving environment and it is important that the systems are kept running smoothing and routinely recording activity. The Operations Manager will carry a lot of the day to day task you would expect in a business retail outlet, its hands on and hands off, requiring a strong understanding of core systems (website sales, sales order management, stock management) as well as customer service skills.

This is an important support role to the Managing Director and requires connect with all branch staff a firm handle on day to day transactions.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 26,000.00-35,000.00 per year

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
