We are seeking an experienced and driven

Operations Manager

to lead our processing plant operations in Dingwall. This is a hands-on leadership role with full responsibility for production, engineering, compliance, and people management.

As Operations Manager, you will ensure our plant runs safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You'll lead a passionate team, drive continuous improvement, and help shape the future of our growing business.

Salary

- negotiable based on experience

Shift

- backshift 2pm - 10.30pm

Key Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day operations across the processing plant Ensure production targets, yields, and quality KPIs are consistently met Plan resources and schedules to meet manufacturing demands Manage and develop department managers, supervisors, and frontline teams Foster a high-performance culture through clear KPIs, coaching, and regular appraisals Oversee recruitment, training, and staff development Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive work environment Ensure compliance with food safety standards (HACCP, BRCGS, customer requirements) Support capital investment and upgrade projects Drive process improvement, cost control, and efficiency across all departments

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as an Operations Manager or senior leader in a manufacturing or processing environment Strong knowledge of food production processes and regulatory standards Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills Track record of improving operational performance and driving results Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset
