Operations Manager

We are a sheet metal fabrication company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality products with a fast turn-around to a wide range of industries. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Operations Manager to join our team and Assist our Operations Director with the running of the workshop whilst also being a key person within the sales/estimating team.

Responsibilities

The ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Understand the various machinery required for fabrication*
Be confident and polite when dealing with customers and helping them through the process from drawing to proving them with the end result*
Work closely with our production team to ensure work is being carried out with excellent quality and in a timely manner*

Skills and qualifications

Strong understanding of the sheet metal industry and the fabrication processes, specifically laser cutting, bending, welding, finishing and assembly

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings*
Use of Solidworks*
Excellent IT skills*
Able to multi task whilst remaining organised at all times*
Excellent communication skills*

Our office hours are Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pm and Fridays 8.30am - 1pm however on the odd occasion you may be needed to start earlier.
