Operations Manager




Permanent, full-time position, 40 hours per week





We are seeking a highly motivated Operations Manager to join our well-established family-owned business, to oversee daily operations across bottling and warehousing, and support our long-term plan.




The successful candidate will ideally have:




Educated to degree level or with comparable experience in supply chain or manufacturing - preference would be from within the drinks industry. Institute of Brewers and Distillers Diploma or Certificate in Packaging would be an advantage. Food Safety Level 3 or above. HACCP IOSH Managing Safely or similar. Familiarity with manufacturing process systems. Knowledge of ERP systems and supply chain planning systems experience. Knowledge and experience of working in the Scotch Whisky Industry would be an advantage. Alternatively experience & track record of working in an FMCG production environment. Awareness of HMRC regulation for Scotch whisky. Strong people leadership experience. Confident and competent people manager. Excellent communicator. Creative motivator to deliver performance. Problem solving approach. Ability to organise, plan and meet deadlines and performance targets. Competent presentation and computer skills.
Self-Awareness.




Product Knowledge:




Awareness of Scotch whisky would be advantageous.


This is a permanent, full-time position of 40 hours per week.
