Withycombe Rugby Club proudly celebrated its centenary last year. Over the past 100 years, the club has evolved from a group of local villagers enjoying the occasional game and a pint in the local pub, into a vibrant and ambitious community hub. Today, Withycombe Rugby Club boasts 13 teams, ranging from Under 6s to our walking rugby team for members in their seventies. Every Sunday, more than 200 youngsters take to the field, and the club is home to two senior men's teams and a women's team, all competing in their respective leagues.
At the heart of the community, Withycombe Rugby Club hosts local school events, provides a base for local clubs and societies, and serves as a welcoming venue for weddings, wakes, and other major celebrations--including an annual music festival that brings everyone together. Our proud tradition is built on inclusivity and community spirit, making us much more than just a rugby club.
