Fire Detection (Alarms) Operations Manager

Elite Fire Solutions Limited is a leading provider of fire protection solutions based in Basildon, Essex, dedicated to creating safe environments for businesses and communities. We specialise in comprehensive fire safety systems in Passive and Fire Detection (Alarms) area of fire protection. We pride ourselves on our client-driven culture and have built lasting relationships with construction companies, housing providers, and commercial businesses.

Due to continued business growth we are in the process of registering with BAFE and we are now seeking an experienced Fire Detection (Alarms) Operation Manager to lead and develop the Fire Detection department, this is a new department so it will be a blank canvas for someone to make their own and develop their own team.

Office based in Basildon

Duration:

Full Time PAYE

Responsibilities:

Project Management

: Oversee the planning and completion of fire detection projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

Leadership:

Build, lead and manage the Fire Detection Operations team.

Compliance:

Ensure all projects comply with the relevant regulations, standards and best practices.

Technical Guidance:

Provide technical guidance and support to the team.

Client Relationships:

Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and fulfilling their requirements.

Financial:

Managing own P&L and budgets.

Qualifications:

Education:

Fire alarm installation and service management experience.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years' experience in active fire protection, with at least 3 years within a management role. Experience working for a BAFE company to know fire alarm systems.

Skills:

Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills. Ability to work confidently and effectively with clients, regulatory bodies and team members.

Knowledge:

In depth knowledge of fire alarm systems, fire safety regulations and industry best practices.

55,000.00 - 65,000.00 (depending on experience)

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8 hour shift
