Role: Operations Manager - Fire & Security
Location: Derbyshire
Salary: 50,000 - 56,000 per annum
Are you an experienced Fire & Security professional ready for your next leadership challenge? We are seeking an Operations Manager - Fire & Security to oversee safety and security operations across a prestigious heritage estate and visitor destination.
Responsibilities:
Lead, develop, and motivate the Security Team through coaching, training, and performance management.
Manage and maintain fire and security systems, ensuring compliance and operational effectiveness.
Oversee Fire and Salvage Teams, ensuring regular training and preparedness drills.
Provide expert security oversight for events, exhibitions, and high-profile activities.
Liaise with emergency services, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure safety.
Manage budgets effectively, delivering within agreed financial parameters.
Experience and Certifications Required:
Proven management experience in Fire & Security operations.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
In-depth technical knowledge of fire and security systems and compliance standards.
Adaptable and organised, with excellent stakeholder management skills.
Based locally or willing to relocate within ~15 minutes of the estate (relocation support provided).
