Invictus Wellbeing is West Yorkshire's Children and Young Person's Mental Health Charity. We offer timely, effective and accessible mental health support to thousands of children and young people (5-25) every year.

Summary



The Operations Manager is a key role within our senior leadership team at Invictus Wellbeing and is the second most senior role in the organisation, deputising for the Chief Executive Officer. This role will oversee all service delivery across the organisation and hold strategic and operational responsibility for key portfolio areas of the organisation.

You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the organisation whilst regularly problem-solving and managing the senior leadership team to deliver the highest standard of service delivery. You will achieve this through creating synergy between our services and projects and their leads and ensure collaborative working across the organisation and wider partnerships.

The Operations Manager is directly responsible to the CEO and will work closely with them to ensure strong alignment between our organisational strategy and operations.

Responsibilities



Oversee service delivery across the entire organisation and across three local authorities. To be the driving force in implementing our organisation's strategy across our services and ensuring services are being planned, delivered and evaluated to the highest of standards. To foster and promote a strong collaborative culture across all of our services, supporting service managers and leads to emulate our core values of collaboration, compassion, innovation and integrity. To create and sustain effective partnerships and relationships with key partners across West Yorkshire, attending key networks and contributing to local and regional strategic initiatives. To manage a team of 4-8 staff effectively with monthly management supervision and ensuring relevant training and development. To manage and develop key service developments and processes and actively problem solve when issues arise. Be responsible for the development of our service offer across all areas, ensuring that KPIs are being achieved, addressing problems early and working closely with the CEO to achieve sustainable growth. To seek out and manage innovation through new and effective partnerships, piloting new projects and taking best practices from national networks. To work with the CEO to oversee key governance areas including safeguarding, health & safety, GDPR, HR, recruitment and more. To oversee budgets, monitor income and expenditure of services and ensure each service is financially sustainable. To oversee our relationships with all schools & colleges, ensuring our service offer is being relayed to them and maximising our paid offer in schools. To be the go-to person for any problems and concerns and ensuring effective communication to all staff and volunteers. To undertake ongoing professional development relevant to mental health and emotional wellbeing and other relevant skills. To undertake other duties which are commensurate with the role.

Requirements



You will be a passionate, autonomous and highly organised individual, with experience and knowledge of children and young people's mental health services across West Yorkshire. You will be a highly motivated leader with a track record of managing and developing staff and volunteers and embedding a strong, professional culture.

You will have a key understanding of safeguarding, health & safety, GDPR, and more and be able to quickly adapt to our policies and procedures and oversee them across all of our services.

You will be creative, collaborative, open-minded and able to plan, deliver and manage projects and services of varying scale, using the organisation's resources efficiently.

You will be keen to work with the CEO and our existing senior leadership team, quickly understanding how our organisation works, and continuously driving for innovation and supporting the organisation's growth over the next 5 years.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 31,100.00-35,275.00 per year
