Shift patterns: Rotational Shift Patterns 06:00 - 14:00 - 14:00- 22:00 Monday to Friday , Occasional Weekends

We're now looking for a Operation manager to join our team
?A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• To strategically manage all warehouse, distribution and maintenance activities in line with DHL's policies and vision, monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of all functions, performance and productivity, ensuring safe and cost-effective methods are a priority consideration
• To manage and implement the daily coordination of direct reports, ensuring that all schedules, regulations, records and working practices are up-to-date and in line with company policies and UK legislation, whilst maintaining excellent working practices and health & safety compliance across the business
• To continuously review and evaluate warehouse policies, procedures, and systems to ensure that the site is operating at maximum efficiency and optimum level
• Indirect management of all areas of the logistics Centre
• Active involvement in defining and overseeing KPIs
• Initiating and supervising the implementation of appropriate countermeasures to disruptions that have occurred,
• Planning, together with the Operations Managers, the workflow, the necessary personnel, and technology

?THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Previous and practical experience as a Warehouse Operations Manager within a busy logistics environment
• Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain management and legislation
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to organise and train direct reports
• Computer literate with a practical knowledge of logistics software program's and packages
• Analytical, with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
• A recognised qualification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics will be preferred and well-received
